● Summary:This wine has some complex cool climate Shiraz characteristics of white pepper and spice that integrate with the richer dark fruits that are more often a character of Clare Shiraz. Judicial and sensitive use of fine grain French Oak add further dimensions to the already complex aromas. This, our second Stand and Deliver Shiraz is a monster of a wine in the best possible sense. If you like your Shiraz big, bold, juicy and rich, this wine ticks all of those boxes. It’s deep and dark and complex too with some black pepper and cinnamon characters amongst the dark fruit. The oak is in perfect balance with the fruit and the tannins just right.
Vinification :Fermented in stainless steel at approximately 24 degrees Celsius and left on its skins for32 days. Pressed off skins and direct to wood for maturation.
● Tasting Notes:A wine made from grapes grown in the Armagh and Stanley Flat sub regions of the Clare Valley. This wine is a very deepcolour and is bursting with aromas of plums, chocolate and spice. It is very long, nich andsoftand has a fine and silky finish.
